Situated within the Wasatch Mountains, explicitly at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Alta Utah lodging is certainly a premier destination for skiers around the world. Receiving an annual average snowfall of 550 inches, Alta also receives more than 2500 vertical feet of skiable terrain accessed by 7 chairlifts. We are also home to the world-renowned Alf Engen Ski School.
OUR LODGE
Of the five family-owned lodges in Alta, the Goldminer’s Daughter Lodge is certainly the most convenient. Additionally, we are situated at the base of Alta, just feet away from the main high-speed quad lift. Our lodge undoubtedly has the perfect accommodations for a ski vacation. We presently offer a full breakfast and four-course dinner at the Top of the Lodge. There is also a complimentary après spread in the Goldminer’s Saloon, as well as an indoor hot tub to relax in after a long day of skiing.
